DOCTOR CHARGED WITH CAUSING GIRL’S DEATH

KANSAS CITY, Sept 6.— Dr. Jacob Hall was bound over today for trial on a charge of manslaughter in connection with the death of Meta Zook, a high school girl last August after an operation. Dr. Fabian Pratt, who has given his preliminary hearing simultaneously with that of Dr. Hall, was discharged on grounds of “insufficient evidence.” Dr. Hall furnished $3000 bond and was released.

The court room was crowded with spectators eager to hear the details brought out at the coroner’s inquest of a scandal involving a number of fashionable families of the city.

The principal witnesses today were boys of the so-called “Armour boulevard frat branch” of Westport High school, was told of making up a purse to pay for the operation that caused the girl’s death.
